1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CareerArchitect (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CareerArchitect provides AI-powered career fit analysis. You upload your CV and job descriptions, and receive match scores, recommendations, and gap analyses. The Service is provided “as is” and is intended as a decision-support tool, not a guarantee of employment outcomes.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

The Service offers both free and paid subscription plans. Free accounts include a limited number of analysis credits. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase.

• Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period
• Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if no credits have been used
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice

5. Credits and Usage

Analysis credits are consumed when you run a CV-to-job comparison. Free and referral credits do not expire. Paid plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. We reserve the right to modify credit allocations with reasonable notice.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload, including your CV and any job descriptions. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our AI models or algorithms
• Use automated tools to scrape or bulk-access the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Resell or redistribute analysis results commercially

8. AI-Generated Content

Analysis results, recommendations, and suggestions are generated by AI and should be treated as guidance, not professional advice. CareerArchitect does not guarantee the accuracy of any analysis or the outcome of any job application. You are solely responsible for your career decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerArchitect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, lost income, or reliance on AI-generated recommendations.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, algorithms, branding, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is owned by CareerArchitect and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without written permission.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
